I see no other plausible reason that Christ would reference children (whether just the mind set of a child or not) while speaking of going to heaven. This leads me to other questions admittedly. But what I see in the verses above is what I see.LorMariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07182120408651424886noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9706685.post-1145676360287901352006-04-21T23:26:00.000-04:002006-04-21T23:26:00.000-04:00It's been decades since I read the xtian bible (in...It's been decades since I read the xtian bible (in its entirety), so perhaps you can clear up this point, which does relate to the theme of this post.

If Jesus "died for our sins," why are we still considered to be born "sinners"?

By the way, I love your web site and blog.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9706685.post-1136454500872293192006-01-05T04:48:00.000-05:002006-01-05T04:48:00.000-05:00I can feel your pain, and am sorry to think that p...I can feel your pain, and am sorry to think that people would say things like this. Being involved in fundamentalism/evangelicalism brought suggestions from others of possible sin in my life causing what happened, possible future grave sin in my child's life necessitating the death, and yes, one of my best friends could give me no assurance of my baby being in heaven. It was awful. This teaching is cruel and vile, wrapped up in the guise of being true to god. Sick, sick, sick.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
